Prince Michael Ojotule Appointed South-South Coordinator for Ododo/Oyibo 2027 Re-election Bid

The All Progressives Congress (APC) political family in the South-South geopolitical zone has welcomed the appointment of Prince Michael Ojotule as the South-South Coordinator for the 2027 re-election campaign of Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor Joel Salifu Oyibo.
The appointment has been greeted with celebrations by supporters and members of the Kogi community resident in the South-South, particularly in Rivers State, who described it as a recognition of Ojotule’s longstanding commitment to grassroots mobilisation and party development.
Prince Ojotule currently serves as the Kogi State Coordinator of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju and North Central Alliance (SWAGA/NCA).
Supporters credited him with contributing to the growth of the Ododo/Oyibo support structure in Rivers State and across the South-South region.
A former aspirant for the House of Representatives to represent the Idah Federal Constituency, Ojotule is widely regarded by his supporters as an experienced grassroots mobiliser with an active role in APC political activities
In a congratulatory message, members of the APC in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State described the appointment as a reflection of his leadership qualities, dedication, and commitment to the ideals of the ruling party.
The statement expressed confidence that Ojotule would strengthen the APC’s organisational structure and coordinate political engagement across the South-South in support of the Ododo/Oyibo ticket ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Kogi State.
The group also urged party members and supporters to cooperate with the new coordinator in carrying out his responsibilities.
