Hon. Adamu Abubakar Toto, popularly known as Abu Daura, has expressed appreciation to the Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for his appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Affairs, but has declined the appointment due to his current engagements.
In a statement issued on Monday, Adamu Toto said he was grateful to Governor Sule for finding him worthy of the appointment, which was announced on social media on September 7.
However, he explained that his present commitments would not allow him to accept the appointment at this time.
While declining the offer, Toto expressed appreciation to the Governor for the confidence reposed in him and described the gesture as a demonstration of trust and recognition.
The statement reads:
LETTER OF APPRECIATION AND REJECTION OF APPOINTMENT AS SSA POLITICAL
His Excellency,
Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule,
Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.
Your Excellency,
I wish to sincerely express my profound gratitude and appreciation to Your Excellency for finding me worthy of appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Affairs, as announced on social media today, September 7.
However, it is unfortunate that, due to my present engagements and commitments, I am unable to accept the appointment at this time.
