The convener of the forum and Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Esq., made this known while outlining the group’s mobilisation programme.

Oghenesivbe said the forum would soon commence a door-to-door sensitisation campaign to engage registered voters and promote awareness of its APC 5/5 mobilisation agenda ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, the 5/5 campaign slogan is designed to mobilise support for APC candidates contesting the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives, governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

He identified President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ede Dafinone, Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, Esq., as the five political figures featured in the forum’s mobilisation programme.

The LPF convener also called on eligible voters from Kokori and other communities in Agbon Kingdom residing within Abraka State Constituency to participate in the State Assembly election, where the group identified Hon. Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe, popularly known as IBANI, as its preferred candidate.

Oghenesivbe expressed confidence in the organisational structure of the APC in Ward 6, Kokori, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Sunny Emeyese, while emphasising the importance of unity, coordination and sustained grassroots engagement ahead of the next electoral cycle.

He noted that the forum’s activities would focus on strengthening community-level participation, voter sensitisation and political engagement, adding that collective commitment would be required to achieve its organisational objectives.

As part of preparations for the inauguration, Oghenesivbe announced that the Secretary of the Latimore Political Forum, Chief Akpobo Imoni, would preside over an enlarged meeting of the group on Monday, November 2, 2026.

The meeting is expected to deliberate on organisational arrangements and other activities leading to the formal inauguration scheduled for November 7 in Kokori.

The forum also highlighted the policies and programmes of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori since their assumption of office in 2023, saying the records of their respective administrations would feature prominently in its engagements with residents and voters.

It particularly referenced Governor Oborevwori’s recently unveiled MORE PLUS campaign slogan for his second-term ambition, expressing support for the governor’s development vision and its proposed direction for Delta State beyond 2031.

The LPF consequently called on eligible voters in Ethiope East Local Government Area and other parts of Delta State to participate in the 2027 general elections, while urging its members and supporters to sustain community engagement ahead of the polls.

The November 7 inauguration is expected to provide the organisational framework for the Latimore Political Forum to formally commence its activities and coordinate its engagements across Kokori, Agbon Kingdom and the wider Ethiope Federal Constituency.
