The senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) said the speaker of the house of representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, deserves to be celebrated on his 60th birthday anniversary.

Aduda, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Sunday, said he joined other principal officers of the national assembly to felicitate with the honorable speaker for God that continue to keep him in sound health to impact positively on the lives of Nigerians.

He said the leadership style of Gbajabiamila has continue to serve the serve not only the good people of his Lagos State constituency but entire Nigerians in a positive ways.

He described the speaker as a patriotic legislature and a legal luminary that has continued to remain focus and patriotic while presiding over the green chambers of the national assembly.

The minority leader, while extolling the virtues and leadership qualities of the speaker as he celebrate his 60th birthday, added that the leadership of the speaker has positively changed the public perception of the relationship between legislature and the executive.

“And it’s on this premise that as the Senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda (MFR) on behalf myself, family and my entire legislative aides as well as my colleagues at the senate join to celebrate with you on your 60th birthday anniversary,” he said.

Aduda, therefore, called on the speaker not to relent in utilizing his position to advance the cause of Nigerians, even as he added that Gbajabiamila’s leadership style is highly commendable that worth emulation.
