Dr. Halima Alfa Gaya, All Progressive Congress stalwart from the Eastern Senatorial Districts of Kogi State, has expressed her condolences to Nigerians on the passing of former President, Retired General Muhammadu Buhari.
In her condolence message shared with the press in Lokoja, she described Buhari’s passage as a rude shock to the entire nation.
According to her, the late Buhari is a remarkable institution of study for her and other politicians in the democratic era, and she recalled the book titled “Buhari, the Spirit of Man” which was launched in his honor during the time of the defunct All Nigerians Peoples Party (ANPP)
The former Governorship Aspirant eulogized the late President as a democrat who, through groundbreaking innovations, ensured that the votes of citizens were impactful.
She encouraged Nigerians to continue embracing his ideological principles of belonging to everyone and nobody simultaneously, stating that this notion will foster peace, progress, and sincerity in governance.
Dr. Halima Alfa Gaya prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and Allah’s blessings on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to improve the country for all citizens.
She urged Nigerians to refrain from hostile criticism and pray for the success of leaders as patriotic citizens.
