Ex-gubernatorial aspirant Aishat Ekele condoles Gov Ododo over death of father

The former Kogi State Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aishat Blessing Ekele, has extended her deepest condolences to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the sudden death of his beloved father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
The late Alhaji Ododo passed away at the age of 83 on Monday. He was described as a devout Muslim and respected elder who would be buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
Hon. Aishat Blessing Ekele, who was the immediate past Vice chairman of Olamaboro local government in the state ,but now a local government Special Assistant to governor Usman Ododo disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Tuesday.
Magajia 1 in Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state ,and an aspirant to represent Ankpa , Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency (2018/19) said the news of the passing on of the father of His Excellency was a painful one to all , particularly at this period that the state needs his wisdom and fatherly advice to reposition the state, for better.
“Though ,we have come into terms with the belief that death is an inevitable end of every mortal. It will always comes with shock and unannounced. It’s a natural burden that has become part of us. Any time it struck; it sends sorrows, griefs and pains to the loved ones.
“The death of Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, beloved father of His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo is therefore not an exception . His sudden demise has sent cloud of unhappiness and pains over us , his family and everyone in and outside the state.
“Your excellency,sir, accept my deep condolences. We have taken solace in the fact that your beloved father lived a fulfilled and impactful life. He lived a life rooted on devotion to the service of Allah (SWT). His commitment to the well-being of his family, community, and the state and of course the country will remains evergreen.
“We prayed to Allah to strengthens you , your entire family, including your ethnic and political family,as well as the entire good people of Kogi State to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude and unwavering faith of the will of Allah”, she said .
