APC Dismisses Report on 2027 Nomination form prices, Labels Claim ‘Fake’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked reports circulating in sections of the media alleging the existence of an approved price list for expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the claim as entirely false and misleading.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, the party said its attention had been drawn to what it termed a fabricated report suggesting that it had fixed prices for its 2027 election nomination forms.

The APC categorically denied the report, stressing that it did not emanate from the party and should be disregarded by the public.

The ruling party clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 elections.

It emphasized that any such information currently in circulation is baseless and a product of misinformation.

Describing the report as a figment of the imagination of its author, the APC urged party members, media organisations, and the general public not to be misled by the false publication.

The party reiterated its commitment to transparency and due process, assuring that official communication on such matters would be made through its authorised channels at the appropriate time.

The statement was signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, who reaffirmed the party’s position and cautioned against the spread of unverified information capable of causing unnecessary confusion within the polity.
