Residents of Noforija in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State witnessed a remarkable display of compassion and community service as the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Lagos Region 1, Lekki Mega Regional Axis, Igbo Efon, carried out a large-scale humanitarian outreach.

The outreach preceded the dedication of an ultra-modern MFM church, Region 210, Noforija, Epe, by the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, who was represented at the event by the Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan.

The development marks a significant step in the ministry’s drive to strengthen its grassroots presence across Nigeria and beyond.

The dedication ceremony attracted a large gathering of worshippers, community leaders, and church officials, reflecting a shared sense of purpose and expectation. For residents, the establishment of an MFM regional headquarters in Noforija represents more than a place of worship, it symbolizes spiritual revival, social development, and renewed hope.

Speaking at the event, the Region Overseer, MFM Region 210, Pastor Tunde Oluwaleye, expressed appreciation to the General Overseer for his support.

He noted that the church would serve as a centre for spiritual growth, soul-winning, counselling, youth development, and charity programmes, in addition to its core mandate of biblical teaching and deliverance.

He described the church as a hub for revival programmes, community outreach, and a beacon of hope and restoration for the people.

Delivering a sermon titled “Prayers to Provoke Wonders,” drawn from Isaiah 9:6, Pastor Adegbolahan charged believers to live lives that reflect divine purpose.

“Every believer is mandated to manifest wonders because we belong to Jesus Christ, whose name is Wonderful. A wonder is the visible signature that God is on your side,” he said.

The humanitarian outreach, which drew hundreds of beneficiaries, featured free medical services, food distribution, and skills acquisition programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting self-reliance.

During the medical outreach, residents received free consultations, treatments, and health advice from qualified professionals. Services included blood pressure checks, blood tests, and screenings for various conditions. Pregnant women and patients with chronic ailments were also attended to.

In addition, food items were distributed to vulnerable families to cushion the impact of rising living costs, with beneficiaries expressing gratitude for the timely intervention.

Speaking on the initiative, the Senior Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Lekki Axis, Pastor Moses Adebowale, said the programme aligns with the ministry’s Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI), designed to impact lives spiritually and materially.

Represented by Pastor Olufemi Odelabi, he noted that the General Overseer had directed all MFM branches to combine evangelism with social responsibility.

He also commended Dr. Olukoya and his wife, Dr. Folashade Elizabeth Olukoya, for their commitment to humanitarian service and spiritual transformation.

Adebowale highlighted other interventions by the church, including scholarships for indigent students, empowerment programmes for widows and youths, orphanage support, and prison outreach initiatives.

Also speaking, the District Evangelism Leader for Lekki/Ajah Axis, Evangelist Patience Udeme, said the outreach was designed to win souls while addressing the physical needs of the people.

The event also featured a skill acquisition segment, where participants were trained in vocational skills such as soap and perfume making to encourage entrepreneurship and financial independence.

Widows were not left out, as they received food supplies and cash support to enhance their businesses and support their families.

Residents of Noforija commended the initiative, describing it as impactful and timely, while calling on other organisations to emulate such efforts.

The outreach concluded on a note of renewed hope and strengthened community spirit, underscoring the role of faith-based organisations in driving social transformation and grassroots development.
