Karimi Calls for Unity, Peace as Kogi APC Reconciliation Gains Momentum

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sunday Karimi, has urged members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State to refrain from actions and statements capable of disrupting the ongoing reconciliation and healing process within the party.
Karimi said the APC in Kogi State had made significant progress in resolving internal disagreements and fostering unity among members, stressing that such efforts must be protected through peaceful engagement and constructive dialogue.
The senator described the APC as one united family and reaffirmed Kogi West’s position as a stronghold of the ruling party.
He commended party leaders, stakeholders and loyal members for their continued commitment to strengthening the APC and consolidating on its achievements across the state.
Karimi also expressed appreciation to individuals who have contributed to the growth and stability of the party, noting that their sacrifices and dedication demonstrate genuine commitment to the success of the APC.
“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to all our citizens and party members not to engage in any action or statement that could distract from the healing process,” he said.
“We are committed to working together to make the APC stronger and more inclusive. I urge everyone to uphold the spirit of peace and unity.”
The lawmaker stressed that he would neither support nor associate himself with comments capable of creating division within the party.
“There is no alternative to peace. We must continue to promote a united and progressive discussion that will strengthen the APC as one big family in Kogi West and Kogi State in general,” Karimi added.
He further called on party members to put aside personal differences and work collectively towards the party’s future electoral success and overall development in the state.
