Prince Olatunji Olusoji has congratulated the Project Coordinator of the Kogi State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON, on her recognition with the 2026 Distinguished Public Service Award for Institutional Performance and Service Delivery.

In a statement issued to journalists in Lokoja, Prince Olatunji described the award as well-deserved, attributing the honour to Barr. Jatto’s dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service.

He also commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his developmental strides, noting that the appointment of Barr. Jatto reflects the Governor’s commitment to placing competent individuals in strategic positions.

Prince Olatunji expressed optimism that the recognition would mark the beginning of even greater achievements for Barr. Jatto, while wishing her continued success in service.

He described Barr. Jatto as “an Amazon of inestimable value” whose contributions continue to make Nigerian women proud.

Similarly, the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Mr. Dasuki Arabi, commended Barr. Jatto alongside other award recipients, urging them to sustain the exceptional performance that earned them national recognition.

Arabi noted that Barr. Jatto has redefined institutional performance in her role as Kogi ACReSAL Project Coordinator, setting new standards in transparency, accountability, and impact.

“Your work continues to restore degraded landscapes, strengthen livelihoods, and build climate resilience for communities across Kogi State,” he added.

In her remarks, Barr. Jatto dedicated the award to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing him as “a blessing to Kogi State.”

According to her, the award has further projected Kogi State on the national stage as a model of institutional excellence and effective service delivery.

“This award has placed Kogi State on the national map for institutional performance, proving that Kogi can plan, execute, and deliver impactful projects,” she said.

She also dedicated the recognition to the entire Kogi State ACReSAL team for their collective efforts and commitment to achieving the project’s objectives.
