Comrade Shuaibu Sani and other members of the Engr. A. A. Sule Independent Campaign Support Organization have been formally inaugurated to mobilise support for Governor Abdullahi A. Sule ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the VIP Lodge in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, was attended by Governor Sule, political leaders and other stakeholders.
The organisation is expected to complement the activities of the main campaign council as the governor prepares for his reported ambition to represent Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
Campaign DG Charges Members on Victory
Inaugurating the officials, the Director General of the Governor Abdullahi Sule Senate Campaign Council, Hon. Bala John Moses, charged the newly inaugurated members to work diligently towards securing victory for Governor Sule and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 elections.
Bala commended Shuaibu Sani and his colleagues for establishing the political organisation, describing its objectives as being aligned with the promotion of good governance.
He pledged his support to the organisation, saying both structures were pursuing similar political objectives ahead of the elections.
Sule: Group Formed at Right Time
Speaking at the event, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the formation of the independent campaign organisation came at an appropriate time, noting that APC aspirants and stakeholders were already preparing for the 2027 elections.
Sule said the focus of APC members should be on securing victory at the polls.
The governor also announced a ₦5 million donation to the independent campaign organisation to support its mobilisation activities across Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
He said the financial support would enable members of the organisation to extend their campaign and engagement activities to communities across the district.
Shuaibu Sani: We Will Complement Main Campaign Council
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated members, Comrade Shuaibu Sani expressed appreciation to Governor Sule and other political stakeholders for their support.
Sani said the organisation was established to support the actualisation of Governor Sule’s Senate ambition and contribute to the victory of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
He explained that the independent campaign organisation would complement the efforts of the main campaign council rather than operate in isolation.
The Director General appealed for additional support to enable the organisation to effectively execute its grassroots mobilisation programme.
According to Sani, the membership structure was deliberately designed to reflect grassroots representation, with members selected from all 35 electoral wards across Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
He said the members possess strong grassroots connections and understand the political dynamics of their respective communities.
The inauguration marks another step in the intensifying political mobilisation in Nasarawa North ahead of the 2027 elections, with various groups and campaign structures already positioning themselves for the forthcoming political contest.
