The Coalition of Youth Support Group for Wadada 2027 has intensified its grassroots mobilisation and youth empowerment drive with an official courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Nasarawa State Social Investment Agency (NSSIA), Hon. Imran Usman Jibrin.
The visit, which focused on strengthening institutional collaboration and expanding welfare interventions for youths and vulnerable groups, also provided an opportunity for the coalition to seek strategic support for its ongoing community engagements and planned empowerment programmes across Nasarawa State.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Coalition, Comr. Jaafar Muhammad Loko, who briefed the Director-General and his management team on the objectives, activities and strategic vision of the group.

Loko said the coalition was committed to building a strong grassroots network capable of promoting youth participation, empowerment and development across the state.
He explained that the group’s mobilisation efforts were being complemented by plans for youth-focused empowerment initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable members of society.
The coalition consequently appealed to the Nasarawa State Social Investment Agency for sponsorship, welfare assistance and institutional collaboration to strengthen its grassroots programmes.
In recognition of his leadership and commitment to social welfare, Hon. Imran Usman Jibrin was also formally appointed as a member of the Coalition’s Advisory Committee.
Imran Usman Highlights NSSIA Interventions
Responding, the Director-General of NSSIA, Hon. Imran Usman Jibrin, expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and thanked the coalition for the confidence reposed in him through his appointment to the Advisory Committee.
Usman explained the mandate of the Agency, highlighting some of its interventions aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable households across Nasarawa State.
He particularly cited the monthly conditional cash transfers and stipends provided to vulnerable beneficiaries under the state’s popular “Kudin AA Sule” welfare programme.
According to him, such interventions remain part of efforts to cushion economic hardship and provide social protection for vulnerable citizens.
The Director-General pledged to offer strategic guidance and mentorship to the coalition in his capacity as a member of its Advisory Committee.
He also urged members of the group to remain united, committed and tolerant as they pursue their grassroots mobilisation activities.
“Supporting Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the next Governor of Nasarawa State is a journey rooted in competence and proven capacity,” Usman said.
He urged members of the coalition to remain steadfast in their support for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, expressing optimism that his emergence as governor would bring significant developmental benefits to the state.
Usman further charged the youths to approach their mobilisation efforts with dedication, sacrifice and a strong sense of unity.
