The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has felicitated the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, on the occasion of her birthday.

Prof. Usman, in a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff and students of the university, described Prof. Tenuche as a mother, mentor and source of inspiration to many within and outside the academic community.

The Vice-Chancellor commended the former university helmswoman for what he described as her remarkable achievements, visionary leadership and meaningful contributions to the growth and development of PAAU during her tenure.

He noted that Prof. Tenuche’s commitment to service and academic excellence had left a lasting legacy in the institution.

“Beyond these achievements, you have remained a mother, mentor and inspiration to many, both within and outside the academic community,” Prof. Usman stated.

He added that the legacy of her service, dedication and commitment to academic excellence would continue to speak for years to come.

Prof. Usman further prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the former Vice-Chancellor long life, good health, wisdom and renewed strength as she celebrates another year.

He wished Prof. Tenuche a happy birthday and many more fulfilling years ahead.
