Appeal Court verdict: Kogi SDP Governorship candidate congratulates Natasha.

Kogi state Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the November 11 governorship election, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has congratulated Senator Natasha Hadiza Akpoti -Uduaghan on her victory at the Court of Appeal.
Reacting to the verdict of the Appeal Court that declared the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, victorious in the February Senatorial district election over Abubakar Sadiq Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajaka, said it is a triumph of democracy over forces of anarchy in the State .
Ajaka stated this on Tuesday while reacting to Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) victory at the Court of Appeal over Abubakar Sadiq Ohere of the APC.

Muri/Sam Gubernatorial Campaign Council , the SDP Governorship candidate, noted with satisfaction that the judiciary had rekindled hope that electoral victory procured through violence and manipulation can only be temporary.
“The world watched as your clear victory was brazenly upturned by desperate forces of anarchy even when you won four out of five Local Government Areas in the Central Senatorial District believing that they can get away with the broad daylight heist.
“But thanks to your indefatigability and the resolve of the judiciary to do justice without fear or favor, you have ended the era of electoral impunity in Kogi State today,” Ajaka said.
The Governorship candidate stated further that the feat achieved by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has emboldened him in his resolve to vanquish the same undemocratic forces, who have reduced elections in Kogi State to bloodletting and manipulations .
It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission+INEC) declared Abubakar Sadiku Ohere of the APC as the winner of the February Senatorial election .
Mrs Natasha Akpoti Uduagan, dragged both the INEC and the the purported winner of the election to the tribunal, where she was declared victorious after legal tussles.
