Breaking News: FHC Abuja do not restrained Speaker Balarabe and his deputy – Justice Obiora
The Federal High Court setting in Abuja has denied the ongoing media propaganda that the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and his deputy, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and Hon Kudu has been restrained from parading themselves as Speaker and Deputy, describing it as false.

The Presiding Judge of Fderal High Court sitting in Abuja Hon. Justices Obiora reputed the news going on in both Electronic and social media that he has restrained the Rt. Hon. Speaker Balarabe, and His Deputy Hon. Engineer Kudu from parading themselves as speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively.
The Court expressly said it has never granted such order of restraining the Speaker Balarabe and his Deputy Hon Kudu.
The Court was duly informed by counsel to the Defendants that Nasarawa State is peaceful and the legislative activities under the able leadership of Rt. Hon. Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe is peacefully going on for the good of the peace loving people of Nasarawa State.
The court didn’t frown at the learned SAN submission, but rather emphasize the need to maintain peace and order in the State.
Matter was adjourned to 12/10/2023.
