Barcelona boss Quique Setien declared in a press conference that he is thinking of using him during the clash with Bayern: “He’s ready to play some minutes.”
Ousmane Dembele, who was in the news after being included in the squad for the match against Bayern Munich, could reappear against the German side after more than six months out.
The news was confirmed by his coach, Quique Setien, in the pre-match press conference. “It’s a satisfaction for everyone that Dembele is in the list and I think he’ll will able to play some minutes if we consider it right to,” the Barca boss said.
And Setien is very keen to be able to play the Frenchman after so much time out and with a lack of options going forward. “We’re happy he can play and do it well,” he continued.
The French winger has made a lot of progress in recent weeks and both his trip and Setien’s comments confirm that.
