Chairman, Members of Kogi Youth Development Commission Receives Letter of Appointment

…SSG Charges them to Lay Solid Foundation that Will Stand The Test of Time

Pioneer Chairman of the newly established Kogi State Youth Development Commission, Mr. Lawal Ozomata James, and other memebers of the Commission have received their Letter of Appointment.

Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade (PhD), presented the letters to them on Wednesday, 7th July 2021, in her Office at the State capital, Lokoja.

Mrs. Ayoade, while presenting the letters to them noted that the government found them worthy and capable of handling the responsibilities; hence their appointment to kick start the Commission.

The SSG pointed out that the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in the State have been up and doing at ensuring that Kogi State youths stands tall wherever they found themselves, this she said the Governor has done through various appointment and giving them opportunities to showcase their leadership potentials.

“The State government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State, found you all worthy to serve in various capacity in the newly established Commission, knowing fully well that you will give your best in laying a solid Foundation for others to follow

“You are all youths, emulate the way His Excellency is putting his youthful mind to use that have been yielding positive results and do same

“Make the State government proud, make Kogites proud, make the youth Constituency proud and make yourselves proud as well by delivering the needed results”

Mrs. Folashade congratulated them and also enjoined them to work collectively to achieve the aims and objectives of setting up the Commission.

On his part, the Pioneer Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Lawal Ozomata James, appreciated God for making such a memorable day a reality.

Mr. James described the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as a gift to the people of Kogi State, especially the youths following his commitment to developing, empowering and appointing them into various positions.

He also appreciated the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, for his pivotal role and prayed God to continually help him succeed in all his endeavors.

The Pioneer Chairman pointed out that the task ahead of them was ernomous, expressing optimism that with the cooperation of capable members, they will live up to expectations.

Mr. Ozomata added that the Commission has swung into action already through familiarization visit, noting that such will go a long way at helping the Commission.
