Edil-el-fitr: Toto LG Vice Chairman Kwanakis identify with populace, donates food items, Cash
As muslim faithful all over the world set for this year Eid-el-fitr after the completion of 29 days of fasting, the Vice Chairman, Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis has extended love and affection to his people through provision of food and other items worth thousands of naira.
Distributing the food items on Wednesday, Alhaji Haruna Kwanakis expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life and that of his people for witnessing this year Ramadan fast and subsequent Eid-el-fitr, saying it call for sober reflection.
According to him, Muslims must put into consideration the lesson learnt during the Ramadan fast and praying God to accept their prayers and supplication as an act of Ibada.
He tasked muslim faithful on the need to tolerate one another and even the non Muslims which he said was a cardinal principle and part of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW exemplary lifestyle.
While congratulating Muslims faithful on successful Ramadan Fast and upcoming Eid-el-fitr celebration, Kwanakis commended the people of Toto LG for maintaining peace and assured of Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas’s continued support , whom he described as a Chairman of all who is out to make a difference.
“I want to specifically commend my boss, the Executive Chairman, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas for showcasing capacity through his people’s oriented programs and policies to entire people of the area.”
The Vice Chairman who used the occasion to put smile on faces of his people distributed food and cash worth thousands of naira.
Some of the items distributed include rice, spaghetti, magic and among others.
In a similar another development, Toto LG Chairman, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has donated clothes and cash to orphans in Toto.
This, the Chairman said was part of his administration’s commitment to provide succour to the needy and promised to continue to render more assistance when called upon.
In a press release issued on Thurday by Yahaya Idris, Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media & Publicity to Chairman, said the council boss was represented by Vice Chairman, Hon Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis shared cash worth thousands of naira and clothes to some orphans mainly children at Izala Mosque Toto.

Hon. Adamu Danlami MaiKeke, Clark of the legislative arm and other top government functionaries.
While appreciating the donor, Chief Imam of Izala Mosque Toto, Malam Abdullahi and Malam Ridwan Oseze, chairman of Izala group Toto LG thanked the council boss delegation for not only gracing the occasion but rather handsomely contributed hugely to the successful of the event.
The organisers also prayed God for the successful of Tashas led council administration.
