Eid-el-Fitr 2021: Alh. Maikaya Felicitate With Muslim Ummah, Calls for Sustenance of the Spirit of Ramadan

The Ciroma of Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Maikaya, has called on Muslims in the State and the Country at large to continue to practice the lessons learnt during the month of Ramadan.

Alh. Musa Maikaya, who made the call in a telephone interview with Newsmen, pointed out that a lot of Islamic Scholars took their time to teach Muslims on various topics within the period of the holy month, stressing that there was need for them to continue to put such lessons into practice.

The former Governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), described the month of Ramadan as a special month among all months of the year, as it creates room for Muslim Ummah to have deeper relationship with Allah.

“I am so happy that Allah has seen us through the month of Ramadan successfully

“The month of Ramadan is a month that came with lots of positive attributes and numerous lessons on sobber reflection, attitude, being our brothers keeper and so on

“Its also affords us the opportunity to amend our ways of life and increase our relationship with Almighty Allah

“I want to say that we shouldn’t just allow this lessons to go with the month, we should make them part and parcel of our daily practices”

Alh. Maikaya, who is also the Chairman, Toto Development Association (TODA), noted that instructions are the pathway to distinction in life, stressing that there was need for all and sundry to keep all instructions received during the holy month to heart.

He charged Muslims across the Country to continue to pray for an end to all forms of insecurity facing Nigeria and as well, pray God to strengthen leaders in authority to enable them succeed.

“Muslims across Nigeria have been praying for an end to all forms of insecurity bedeviling our dear Country, Nigeria

“I will only advice that such momentum shouldn’t quench, we need to rekindle our prayer lives for the Country because we need divine intervention

“If Nigeria is peaceful, we the citizens will enjoy it most, we have no other Country we can call our own, so it is important we sustain our prayers for peace to return so that we can be going about our lawful businesses without fear of any sort”

Alh. Musa Maikaya congratulated Muslims on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr and enjoined them to share with others whatever Allah has blessed them with to attract Allah’s blessings.
