Eid-el-Fitr: Dankogi Felicitate with Muslim Ummah, Sues for Peaceful Coexistence among Nigerians

As Muslims the World over, celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, a Senatorial aspirant from Kogi Central, Ismaila Haruna Dankogi, has called on Muslims and all Nigerians to continue to coexist peacefully with one another.

Dankogi, who made the call in a telephone interview, described the month of Ramadan as a period that afford Muslims opportunity to draw closer to Allah and abstain from all acts that are enemical to the society.

He appreciated Allah for strengthening and providing for all Muslims to take part in this year’s Ramadan, describing the season as a unforgettable moment.

“Ramadan is a period where Muslims globally, seeks for the face of Almighty Allah on certain issues, strengthen our relationship with Allah and of course, abstain from acts that doesn’t give glory to Allah

“As we are all celebrating the completition of Ramadan, I wish all of us a peaceful celebration”

Dankogi pointed out that alot of lessons have been learnt during the period, stressing that there was need for Muslims to remain dedicated to practicing the lessons learnt within the period to enable them enjoy the blessings of Allah at all times.

“We all need to allow the lessons learnt in this month to keep reflecting in our lives daily

“Let’s continue to love ourselves, exhibit tolerance and coexist peacefully with everyone irrespective of where they come from, the language we speak, religion among other divides

“Let us encourage unity at all times so that the dreams of the founding fathers of our dear Country, Nigeria can be realized”

Speaking on the security situation in the Country, Dankogi commended Kogi State government for its dedication to the protection of lives and property of the citizens of the State and for putting all security apparatus in place for Security agents to enable them operate successfully.

He also felicitated with the State Government, all Kogites and Nigerians on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
