Eid-el-fitr: Senator Aduda calls for continuous act of love, sacrifice.

By Sadiq Abubakar, Abuja.

The Senator representing the FCT, Senator Philip Aduda, has called on the Muslim ummah in the territory as they mark the Eid -el-fitr to show continuous act of love and sacrifice.

He urged them not to jettison the virtue of love and sacrifice as the holy month of Ramadan teaches.

Aduda, who is the senate minority leader in a statement on Thursday, while felicitating with Muslims across the FCT on the celebration of the 2023 Eid-el-fitr, charges the Muslim faithfuls to continue to live with love, sacrifice and piety as they did throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

“And it is on this premise that on behalf of myself and family as well as my legislative aides join to rejoice with fellow Muslims across the FCT on the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. While we throng the Eid ground for prayers and mark the end of the month of Ramadan, you should not also forget the lessons the month teaches us,” he said.

He added the celebration of Eid -el-fitr should go with the act of love, sacrifice, and sharing with our brothers and sisters must not end with the month. As You should extend those virtues beyond the holy month.
