Kogi LG Qur’anic Recitation Contingent set for another competition in Adavi LG

…..Stopover at Lokoja to offer special prayer for wellbeing of Barr. Tanko.

Preparatory to this year Qur’anic recitation competition slated for this Sunday, 3rd December 2023, the Kogi local government contingent and coordinators today visited the Executive Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon (Barr) Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku at his Lokoja residence to formally informed him of their readiness to embark on a week long Qur’anic Recitation in Adavi LG.

The leader of the group, Mallam Saidu said they’re fully set for the new task, assuring Barr. Tanko’s of their commitment to ensure the team come out victorious in the upcoming competition.

According to the group, their aim of visiting their political leader was to seek for his usual cooperation and support towards the upcoming Qur’anic Recitation Competition.

“We’re here to tell you that we are fully set for the upcoming Qur’anic Recitation Competition. You’ve been doing it for us over the years, we’re grateful for your benevolence and we pray God reward you abundantly.”

They equally prayed God to bless the former administrator with long live, sound health and prosperity even as they assured him of their unwavering support and loyalty.

The coordinators who took their time to eulogised the civil service boss over his inclusive leadership prowess and endless support he has offered the forum over the years.

On his part, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, the Executive Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Boss, thanked the coordinators for their thoughtfulness and mentorship they have provided to the students which he said placed Kogi LG in better position.

Barr. Tanko, a former Administrator of Kogi LG is known for his generosity and philanthropic gesture towards advancing the cause of development and using his wealth to propagate Islam, the only religion of God in his host Kogi LG and beyond.

The legal icon have received thousands of awards from different organizations such as youth, media, NGO and other professional bodies within and outside the State.

Barr. Tanko assured of his continued support and prayed God to grant the Kogi LG contingent and coordinators safe trip and success as they’re set for another very important assignment.

Global Times Nigeria report that some loyal aides of the former administrator, included his former chief of staff, Umar Faruk, Media aide, Yahaya Idris, friends and well-wishers were on ground to receive the Kogi LG Qur’anic Recitation contingent.
