Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has condoled Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over the demised of his father, Bishop Tanimu Samari Aduda, who died after a brief illness in Abuja, on Wednesday.
Abubakar, who visited Senator Aduda at his family residence in Karu, over the weekend, said the late clergy lived a fulfil life that was worthy of emulation.
He also described late Bishop as a father that had embraced everyone irrespective of religion, tribe or ethnic affiliation, while praying for the reposed soul of the clegy to rest in peace.
He also pray for God to give the family of Senator Aduda the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
Similarly, the chairman of Karu local government area of Nasarawa state, Hon. James Thomas, who described the death of the late clergy as a great lost not only to the people of the FCT, but people of Nasarawa state.
He said the late Bishop had been a father to entire people of Karu local government both physical and spiritually, saying the late clergy had impacted positively on people of Karu local government.
The local government chairman described Senator Aduda as one of the hierarchy senator in the federal republic of Nigeria, who has also been carrying people of Karu along.
Global Times Nigeria correspondent report that senator Kabiru Marafa was also among dignitaries that condoled with Senator Philip Aduda.
