Former WWE Champion will return to Royal Rumble After a Break.
This year’s Royal Rumble of WWE will add more colours as big faces have been scheduled to return to the stage. Rumours had it that Jon Moxley and some other AEW Superstars may attend the event. This news came to light after a report said that WWE is looking to make a different type of entry for the Rumble match.
Speaking further, Dave Meltzer cleared the air by saying no AEW superstars will be seen at the upcoming premium live event, putting an end to all the rumours.
even though talks are going on between WWE and AEW, it was only going on to get the biographies of the superstars who are currently working in AEW.
WWE has given a different leeway for outside Superstars and current Impact Wrestling Knockout Champion Mickie James has been added to the Women’s Royal Rumble. Since the first Women’s Rumble in 2018, James has participated in the Rumble match three times.
Jon Moxley was very successful in WWE, he left WWE after his contract expired in 2019.
He made his main roster debut as part of the Shield in 2012 alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Like Rollins and Roman, Moxley became a big star and is also a former WWE Champion. He fought his last match on March 25, 2019, on Raw, in which he had to face defeat against Drew McIntyre.

After leaving WWE, he joined AEW and performed at New Japan Pro Wrestling. He is the second wrestler after Chris Jericho to win the AEW Championship. He took a break from wrestling in November 2021 and is scheduled to return on 23 January. Although those reports have been put to rest for now, but it remains to be seen whether they enter this match or not.
