Fuel Subsidy Removal: Toto LG Chair, Tashas sets up palliative committees, set for flags off tomorrow

In line with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s transparency and accountability on equal distribution of wealth which characterized his administration, the Executive Chairman Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, on Wednesday inaugurated committee members on palliative distribution.

The inauguration took place at the council chamber of the Toto LG secretariat had the vice Chairman of the council, elected councilors, supervisors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, personal Assistants.

Others include, Chief of Staff, All Progressives Congress, APC, executives headed by chairman Toto LG chapter of the party, security chiefs and leadership of Jama’atil Nasril Islam (JNI) and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) towards having a peaceful and transparent distribution.

A press release from the Toto LG council secretariat issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media and Communication to Chairman of Toto LGC, said the official flag off of the distribution of palliatives will be done under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

While inaugurating the Committee, Tashas Abdullahi charged the committee members on selfless service even as he said it should be in the interest Toto LG masses that are major beneficiaries.

The statement further clarified that appointees and civil servants are not part of the distribution.
