Sleeping at PEPT: Nigerian Music Producer, Soberekon urges LP hired lawyers to refund money to Peter Obi

An Nigerian Talent Manager and Music producer, Soso Soberekon, has spoke concerning the viral clips of some lawyers sleeping at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) held in Abuja on Wednesday, September 6.

Soberekon who disappointment with the lawyers of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, after being caught sleeping on live television while the verdict was going on.

He asked those lawyers to urgently refund the money paid for their services.

Reports said lPEPT commenced the delivery of judgment in the disputes that arose over the February 25 presidential poll, which saw President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) declared the winner.

Five political parties, including the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), Action Peoples Party (APP), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and the Action Alliance (AA), are challenging the poll’s outcome.

The parties lodged separate petitions at the PEPT sitting in the Court of Appeal in Abuja, to annul Tinubu’s victory.

However, while the verdict was being delivered, many were caught on camera sleeping soundly.

Several lawyers and notable personalities were captured in different positions, dozing away.

Reacting to the clips, Soberekon suggested that all the lawyers hired by the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, should refund his money.
