In their resolved and commitment towards sustainability to ideals of the party, the forum passed vote of confidence on His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasarawa State, Mr. Philips Shekwo and acknowledged the good works of the government. It also agreed to mobilize the Gbagyi population to continue to support the government and ruling party.
Those in attendance during the forum meeting are, APC State Chairman and some prominent stakeholders in the area including Hon. Ayuba Ayenaje, former Commissioner of Finance, among others.
The forum reviewed the last general election and observed that there was an improvement in the support received by APC.
It was also observed that nearly all Gbagyi prominent personalities in other political parties have either joined the APC or indicated interest to do so. It is therefore, hoped that APC will receive better support and votes in the next election.
The member, representing Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa addressed the forum while the Honourable Commissioner of Health, Nasarawa State, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya sent a representative to the meeting and they all pledged their support for the forum to mobilise support for APC.
Over 300 youths participated in the meeting.
