The immediate Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Job Creation and SME’s Development, Mallam Danladi Suleiman Aguye has been conferred with an Award as a Political Strategist of the Year.
A Non-Governmental Organization know as Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance, Kogi State, conferred the Award on Mallam Aguye at the 2020 Award of Excellence organized by the Group in Lokoja.
The Group said the Former SA merit the honor in view of his strategic contributions to grassroots politics and his laudable achievements during his stay in Office.
The Association also described him as an easy going politician who is always open to listen to the plight of youths, provide solution within his reach and enjoined him to sustain such attitude.
The recipient, Mallam Danladi Suleiman Aguye who was represented at the event by Abdulmalik Okura Abbas, said the Award will spur him to do more for the people in his immediate Community and the State at large.
“it gladdens my heart to see that Groups are now recognizing those that are contributing their quota to the development of the society, this is really a good thing for our State. Over time, Hon. Aguye has committed himself youth Development and it is evident in his approach to life and that has always singled him out”
Mallam Aguye noted that there was need for all well-to-do individuals to give back to the society as such will go a long way at ensuring speedy development.
“at this juncture I want to categorically say that the development we all seek lies in our hands. Sometimes there are certain things we can do on our own but we kept waiting for the Government that are trying their best to meet up with other things that will be of benefit to the people. We have businessmen/women, we have people that are making waves in all works of life please, let us come together and contribute to the development we seek. Let us willingly give back to the Society”
He appreciated the Group for he honor done him and enjoined the Association to continue on the good path it has chosen.
“Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance, I say a big thank you for this Award. With this recognition, I will double my efforts at ensuring that I contribute meaningfully to the lives of people around me, my dear State – Kogi State and wherever I find myself. Once again, I am grateful”.
