A renowned politician and grassroots mobiliser, Hon Muhammed Garba Isimbabi has congratulated the newly elected executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Council, Hon Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas for his well deserved victory at the poll.

Reacting to the outcome of the election on Thursday, Isimbabi said the enthusiasm and massive turn out of the electorate during the local government election in Toto local government area is an attestation of the resolve and love for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) by the people who have been mostly touched by the programmes and actions of Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa state.

A renowned politician and grassroots mobiliser, Honourable Muhammed Garba Isimbabi, said the response by the people especially Shafan Abakpa ward is an indication of the loyalty and commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon Isimbabi who is popularly called ” solution “, while speaking to Journalists on Thursday at his country home Shafan Abakpa, described the conduct of the election as most peaceful, free of rancour and commended the state electoral body for a job well done.

He described the actions and conduct of the people of Toto LGA as very patriotic which he said will further strengthen bond of unity among the various indigenous communities .

The politician urged other communities across the state to emulate the unity of purpose of the people of Toto local government area of the state, adding that Toto has been regarded as home of domestic democracy since the advent of democracy in Nigeria.

While congratulating the Chairman and the 12 Councillors on their victory, Isimbabi urged them to reciprocate by an open system of governance and close relationship with the electorate.
