Nasarawa lawmaker, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has been conferred with the Most Supportive Youth Legislator of the Year, 2021.
The lawmaker in his reaction give gratitude to God for making it possible for him to attain his dream of serving his people in his own capacity and reaffirmed his commitment to key into more youths friendly programmes that will better their lots.
Global Times Nigeria revealed that the award was presented to him by the Face of Democracy, Nasarawa State Achievers Award in his office in Lafia, the State capital.
Speaking further over the honour done him, Omadefu assured his constituent that the award presented on him will spur him to do more and expressed his continued readiness to support the youths in all ramifications.
The lawmaker who doubles as Chairman, House Committee on Information said he was very determine to provide more leadership to his people. He said.
” I am indeed overwhelmed for the award as the Most Supportive Youth Legislator of the Year 2021.
” This award will spur me to do more as I have been mandated to achieve.
” I am proud to say that I am doing what is expected in touching on the lives of my constituents positively,” he said.
Adamu Omadefu has solicited for the support from all and sundry to enable him succeed.
” I need your prayers and support as well as that of others to succeed as I want to exceed all expectations.
” As I am happy to be part of Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration in which he is exceeding all expectations,” he added
The lawmaker has assured of sound and quality representation in order to bring the much needed dividends of democracy to the door steps of his people.
Earlier, Comrade Luka Saviour, the Secretary of the Face of Democracy Nasarawa State Achievers Awards said that they have awarded the lawmaker based on his contributions to the development of the youths.
” We honour you based on your support and contributions to youth development in terms of youths empowerment, provision of water supply among others.
” You have been mentoring youths on leadership,” he said.
The Secretary has urged the lawmaker to keep the flag flying for the overall development of his constituency and the state at large.
