Just In: Nasarawa Governor appoints former lawmaker Labaran Shafa as Executive Secretary, TSC.

In an effort to improve on the education standard towards providing excellent result, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has appointed immediate lawmaker Representing Toto/Gadabuke state constituency at the Nasarawa State State Assembly Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa as Secretary Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission TSC.

Alhaji Labaran Shafa, a former school Principal and grassroot politician with a particular interest in enhancing development, nation building and among others.

Shafa, a former member in the 6th Nasarawa State House of assembly had performed credibly beyond imagination leading to massive empowerment to youths, women and party’s stalwarts.

Reacting to the latest development, the people of Toto local government has hailed the magnanimity of Governor Abdullahi Sule towards hunting the best brains that will assist his administration achieve his set goal.

They also thanked the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for aiding development in his domain and state at large.

Gov. Sule appoints Chairman, Secretary, Members TSC.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointments of Chairman, Secretary and members of the State Teachers Service Commission TSC.

A statement by Secretary to the State Government SSG Barr. Muhammed Ubandoma Aliyu gave their names as follows.

1. Muhammed Abubakar Gada, Keffi LG Chairman.

2. Ahmadu Saidu Salihu, Lafia LG Member.

3. Babasadas Wasa Akwanga LG Member.

4. Mr Francis Bitrus K. Kokona LG. Part Term Member.

5. Alh. Yusefu Adamu Idasho Obi LG. Part Term Member.

6. Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, Toto LG. Secretary.

They will be inaugurated on a date to be announce soon.
