Following the recent outbreak of the deadly novel Corona Virus which has since claimed several lives across the globe with Nigeria joining the list of infections and fatalities, the management of Karu Local Government council under the able leadership of the Executive Chairman Hon. Akala Samuel Gajere, has therefore adopted the following measures to contain the spread of the virus in the locality:
Hence forth, there shall be No gathering of more than 20 persons be it social, religious or cultural till further notice;
No motor cycle operators popularly known as okada is allowed to carry more than a passenger
No public transport Bus or Car shall carry beyond their seating capacities
Bear pallors and night clubs shall shutdown henceforth
All hotels and hospitality facilities shall make provision for temperature measurement equipment and hand sanitizers for regular usage.
Staff of karu Local Govt are also directed to operate from home till further notice.
Know that Corona virus is real, so lets avoid unnecessary contact by mainaining social distance to help contained the spread of COVID-19 in our society
