A former lawmaker who represented the good people of Kogi/Koton-karfe state constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Ndakwo Abdulrahman Tanko Ozi, has congratulated the newly elected governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo on his well deserved victory at the poll.

He said Ododo being an experienced politician, prudent resources manger, financial expert and administrator par excellence will take Kogi State to the next level of prosperity.

The legal icon who is the Kogi West Senatorial candidate under the podium of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the 2023 election, commended the large turn out of voters, saying their support gave room to APC victory in Kogi LG.

He stressed the need for the people of his constituent and entire Kogi LG populace to continue to render their full support to the incoming governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo just as they gave to the outgoing governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Barr. Abdulrahman Tanko Ozi assured the people of Kogi LG on continued government support ranging from infrastructure, peace, security, health, education and empowerment programmes.

Speaking further, the grassroots politician assured the incoming governor of his full support to enable it succeed.

It was reported that Barr. Tanko Ozi had before election move with thousands of his former SDP members across the 21 LGAs to APC as part of effort to secured victory.
