The Executive Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Honourable (Barr.) Muhammed Tanko Musa (Osuku) has embarked on a thank you visit to some communities in kogi/Kotonkarfe local government area as part of effort to appreciate them for voting All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Ododo Ahmed Usman in the just concluded November 11, 2023 election.
This, he said their massive support to ruling party inform his decision to go round some polling units begining from his country home Osuku to thank them for aiding APC victory in the area.
At Osuku community, Barr. Tanko led his supporters straight to the palace of Osuku Chief for a royal blessing before heading to Okete where horde of APC organised a mini reception for their leader and August visitor.
He told the people of Okete community that Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is such a leader who shows appreciation to persons or groups that have done something for him.
He pledged to liaise with INEC to provide Okete community with voting polling unit to ease their participation in democratic process.
Several people who spoke on behalf of the community, thanked Barr. Tanko for being just and sincere in all his dealings.
According to them, the leadership of the civil service boss was very rare compare to other politicians who will never look back after elections.
The group proceeded to Osuku where hundreds of youth and women were seated waiting for their son, political leader whom they described as a true son of the soil.
Barr. Tanko in a brief remark told his own people that he has come to thanked them for voting his own party and making sure Ahmed Usman Ododo emerged victorious at the polls.
He pledged to empower all the women who voted for APC in the area, saying he has all their names recorded for future engagement.
The legal luminary reminded the gathering that those who voted APC were good people who want progress, peace and development in Osuku and entire Egbira nation.
While at Lakwo, Onzo, Ohuma, Koton-karfe, Gwazaki and Ogbendu Barr. Tanko met with Gbagy and Egbira communities and praised their effort at ensuring APC was delivered.
He assured them of continued movement support, urging them to remain steadfast and focus as he promised that new government will carried them along.
