Kogi Guber: Dino Melaye visits Attah – Igala, commences consultations.

IDRIS AHMED, LOKOJA.

Kogi state governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Sen. Dino Melaye, in his statewide consultation visited the Attah – Igala, the paramount ruler of Igala Kingdom and the President of Kogi state council of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Opaluwa Oguche in Idah, the ancestral home of the Igala Kingdom for his blessing

The Candidate was in company of his running mate, Hajia Habibat Mohammed Deen, the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Engr. Samuel Uhuotu and other prominent stakeholders of the party.

While at the palace, the governorship candidate expressed his appreciation to the Attah – Igala and the Council of Chiefs for the warm reception accorded him and the dignitaries on the entourage.

He assured the royal father that the stool of Attah – Igala will be properly placed and it will receive National and international recognition.

Melaye who promised to carry Igala nation along, assured that if elected governor of the state he will operate a just, fair, equitable and open door policy of governance.

The Governorship hopeful introduced his running mate, Hajiya Habibat Mohammed Deen, to the Royal Father and the entire people of the eastern Senatorial District of Kogi state.

Hajiya Habibat Mohammed Deen was a one time member of the Kogi state House of Assembly represented Ankpa 1 state constituency in the Igala Kingdom.
