Kogi LG Chapter Of NYCN Formally Inaugurated, As Stakeholders Welcomes New Executive Aboard.

Following the formation of the newly constituted executive of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi local government for another fresh term of four years. Stakeholders in the area urged the council to settle down to hit the ground running towards supporting the government policies and program in the interest of the council and state in general.

The new leadership is headed by a 3 term state executive member of the council and immediate past Vice Chairman West, Hon. (Comr) Isah Abubakar Ada Abu, promised to run an open door policy that will enhance meaningful development to the area.
Chairman of the inaugural committee, former State Chairman of the council and presently Chairman NULGE Lokoja LG, Comr. Bala, while administering oath of an allegiance to the new executive charged them to uphold sincerity of purpose, loyalty and as well urged them to initiate a program that has direct bearing to the council and people of Kogi LG, noting that the council is a starting point of governance hence to leave a legacies because there is always a day for reckoning and accountability.
Comr. Bala commended former coordinator, Bako Clerk on his successful four year constitutional tenure, urging him to continue rendering services even with his new office as Supervisory councilor in order to serve as a guide to his successor.
“Subvention is made to be shared among the executive as a tradition of the council but in some cases part of it should be saved for unforseen circumstances that may arise in the course of discharging an official duty, in doing so your office will run smoothly without over depending on donor before initiative any program”.

“Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is great man, his interest, love and support for the youth council has transformers the youths from all sort of crimes to be part of governance and that’s why the state is witnessing peace and development”.
He also used the medium to introduced Comr. Benjamin Ojodale (God First), who is popularly known as Ben Jerry whom he refered ad the hopeful State Chairmanship aspirant of the council, calling on the youths of Kogi LG to adopt him as their sole candidate having been tested and trusted while in office as State Welfare Director of the council.
On their separate remarks, the Director local government and Treasurer of the council, Barr. Ibrahim Abubakar and Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Ohikwura, commended the peaceful conduct of the election that brought the next Executive memebers and however stressed the need to emulate the out-gone leadership led by former coordinator and now supervisory councilor on eduction and social services.

The two council officials promised to ensure their rights and privileged are protected inline with state government cardinal principles.
Also speaking, the out-gone council Coordinator who double as Kogi LG supervisory councilor on education, Comr. Bako Clerk, congratulated his successor and the new team, describing their emergence as best thing that had ever happened in Kogi LG. He pray for their success and Urged them to work-hard to surpassed his leadership.
Bako, while handing over the mantle of leadership to Ada Abu urged him to show more commitment to the system especially the present administration as to make an impact on rancour free movement.
He described Ada Abu as a dogged fighter who has excel in all ramifications and hoping he will bring his wealth of experience to bear. Noting that his leadership primarily l center on human capital development with aimed of putting smile on the faces of Kogi LG youth. Bako Stated.
The new Coordinator of the council, Hon. Isah Abubakar Ada Abu, appreciated the former leadership for its zeal and commitment towards nation building. He commended every stakeholders who contributed in one way or the other towards ensuring their emergence during the election as big brains behind the new team.

He pledged total loyalty to the system, saying his leadership will work with all stakeholders from both LG and State to ensure success.
Comr. Benjamin Ojodale congratulated Comr. Isah Abubakar Ada Abu, described him as brain box behind his aspiration. He said his presence in Koton-Karfe, the administrative headquarters of Kogi LG was to Identified with his people, urging them to continue to be loyal to the system especially the present administration led by His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State.
