Based on his unprecedented track records of performance while he administer the Ankpa local government area as Chief Administrator, a group under the aegis Ankpa APC Youth Progressive Forum, AAPCPF, have endorsed the State Assembly aspiration of Hon. John Aduga for the Ankpa 1 state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly come 2023 election.

The former Ankpa LG council boss is a Chieftain of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and a strong believer in Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s project for emancipation and transformational agenda of Kogi State and beyond.

The group comprising youth and women said John Aduga is more suited to run for Ankpa 1 House of Assembly Seat following his giant strides when he served as an Administrator.

convener of the APCPYF noted that, Hon John Aduga has been a loyal, and committed Party man who deserves to represent them at the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2023, adding that being a grassroots man his experience and exposure will definitely count.

According to the group, Aduga is a detribalized, focused, committed and supportive team player. He has been a member of the defunct APP, ANPP, CPC and now APC, and who had held several positions where he displayed highest level of political professionalism, dedication and selflessness in all the positions.

Aduga’s political efficacy was said to have given birth to landslide victory recorded by President Muhammad Buhari in Ogodo, Akwu, Ankpa 1 and 2 of Ankpa respectively.

Also in the most recent gubernatorial election in the State, Mr. Aduga replicated similar gesture through courageous and efficient service delivery to his people election and supervised the gubernatorial elections in Kogi State. The group posited that Aduga massively delivered the party and gave the manor opposition PDP worst of defeat.

Speaking further on his performance, In 2019, Aduga influenced the defection of over 230 persons from PDP, ADC, APDA and Labour party members to the ruling APC in his Ward.

As a man who loves peace, he decided to relinquish his ambition to represent the good people of Ankpa 1 State constituency for the incumbent Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Ahmed Ahmed.

With all sense of humility, Hon Aduga by the Grace of God, has assisted numerous sons and daughters to secure jobs in many offices and establishments in Nigeria. He has also been the source of hope and committed to the plight of the less privileged, poor, destitute, orphans and windows.

Mr. John Aduga who is now serving as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Political Affairs to Kogi State Governor has executed the following projects for his people in Ankpa:
1. Renovation of Ankpa local government secretariat.
2. Completion of Ankpa Chairman’s Lodge, with the drilling of a borehole
3. Construction of a hut at the palace of Onuh Ankpa, Onuh Ojoku, & Onuh Ikanekpo.
4. Fencing of Ankpa Divisional Police Station.
5. Building of a Market stall @ Akwu, Ogodo, Ojuwo and Atuma.
6. Drilling of borehole @ Onyedega
7. Renovation of the four Roundabout within the Ankpa township with the provision of Solar lights.
8. Building of a 4 block Classroom in Amoke.
9. Donation of Generator to Ankpa Model Nursery/Primary School
10. Provision of educational materials to Primary Schools, payments of JAMB and SSCE fees.
11. Aduga Computer Training Center: aimed @ training the Youth to be Computer literate.
12. Creation of Employment Opportunities via Operation Clean Ankpa where some persons were employed.
13. Provision of Agricultural Inputs such as Fertilizer and Seedling to Farmers in order to boost Agricultural activities in Ankpa LGA.
14. Renovation of Ankpa health Care Centre, with the provision of additional medical facilities to aid effective delivering of medical services to the good people of Ankpa LGA and its environs.
15. Provision of a Sienna Bus for Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Akwu/Ogodo axis

Hon. John Aduga is the president and founder of ADUGA FOUNDATION, a non-governmental humanitarian organization that is out to provide succor to less privilege people.
He was appointed Chief Administrator of Ankpa Local Government in Kogi State, a position he also used to better the lives of his people. If elected as the House of Assembly Member representing Ankpa 1 in the forthcoming election, his precedence and wealth of experience shall propel Ankpa 1 to a path of Unity, Development and Sustainability.
