As part of his efforts to unite the people of his host community and state at large, hundreds of football fans, lovers of Sport converge in Toto Central Pilot Science Primary School Stadium to witness a historical friendly match to mark this year Sallah celebration in honour of Barr. Labaran Magaji, Matawallen Toto).
The Novelty unity Match was organised by Nasarawa/Toto Youth organization to strengthening the friendship between the two sisters LGAs and in Honour of Barr. Labaran Magaji whom they described as a friend of the youths.
Magaji, a state counsel and member governing council Nasarawa State University Keffi, has ober the years been rendering supports to the two local government areas particularly to the youths.
Though, the match ended draw as no winner was recorded after playing for 90 minutes.
Speaking at the event the celebrant Barr Labaran Magaji, salute the adminstration of Nasarawa State Governor Abudulahi A Sule for the giant stride so far witness across the State, and urge youths to continue to pray and support him to succeed, he also commend both teams and call on Toto United to improve more on their tactical method in order to do more while playing as the host when next they meet.
He pledge to provide customized Jerseys for both team, with their names and international standard inscription.
On his part, a former Gubernatorial aspirant and Chairman Maikaya Development Foundation (MDF) Alhaji Dr. Muhammed Musa Maikaya (Ciroman Toto) who also attend the occasion and apologize for coming late and commended Barr Labaran Magaji for this kind gesture towards promoting unity which will give room for cordiality and strengthen the relationship between the two local government, urging him to sustain the tempo.
Other dignitaries who spoke were Alh Akolo Toto, former Toto LG Chairman, Hon Tanko Kaura commended the organizers for giving the youths a direction of purpose. They also Commended the players for a wonderful game and charge them to do more in future.
They charge the Youths to be more energetic and proactive in such wonderful football which is aimed to achieve unity.
