Medical/Herbal Doctors In Kogi For Free Medical Outreach.

IDRIS AHMED, LOKOJA.

A team of Medical /Herbal Doctors stormed Lokoja, Kogi state capital, on a free medical outreach mission.

Led by the President of the National Union of Medical and Herbal Practitioners, Dr. Kabiru Muhammad ( Dr. Nabargu), the team arrived Felele a suburb of Lokoja on Saturday.

Dr. Kabiru Muhammad who is the Chairman of the Musabil Herbal and Rehabilitation Centre, in Keffi Nasarawa state, disclosed to Journalists in Lokoja, that the team is honoring an invitation from the community which benefited from the services of his center in Keffi.

He said though the team earlier intended to spend only two days in Lokoja for the free medical outreach, it has become necessary to extend the duration of the service given the turnout of a large number of patients.

Dr.Nabargu said the team comprises Specialists in psychiatric, epilepsy, skin diseases, pediatric, and related ailments. Others include eye, ulcer, and pile among others.

He disclosed that while Herbal medicine can cure all known ailments and diseases, orthodox medical practitioners can not, pointing out that herbalists believe that before the outbreak of any disease, epidemic, or pandemic, God already has arranged a cure.

The National President of the Medical and Herbal Practitioners, therefore, advised patients not to heavily rely on hospitals only, as some sicknesses can not be cured by them.

When our correspondent visited Felele, scores of patients males and
females were seen in a long queue being attended to. They also have mobile laboratories where patients under various tests before diagnoses and treatment.
