Nasarawa Social Investment Program’s Beneficiaries Lauds State Govt. Efforts For Prompt Payment Of 5000 Monthly Stipends.

Beneficiaries of Nasarawa State Social Investment Programme (NSSIP) under the able leadership of State Focal Person and who doubles as Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor, Engimeer Abdullahi A. Sule on Humanitarian Affairs, Hon Imran Usman Jibrin, on Tuesday, said his office has commenced the payment of 5000 naira monthly stipend to the beneficiaries of the State Conditional Cash Transfer Programme in Doma and Obi in the southern region of the state.
Addressing the beneficiaries, the Focal Person said the programme which involves payment of N5000 monthly stipends to the beneficiaries across the 1495 pulling units in the 13 LGAs of the state is the intervention of the Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s led administration aimed at assisting the poor and vulnerable households and to compliment the efforts of the Federal Government under the able stewardship of President Muhammadu Buhari through the National Social Investment Programme.
Hon Imran Usman Jibrin, appreciated Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for his visionary leadership, in which he said the governor is committed to alleviating the plight of the people especially the poor and vulnerable in the state.
On their part, the beneficiaries of the state government grants spoke collectively by expressing gratitude to Governor Sule for his humanitarian gesture.
They said with what the governor has done and all his intervention in all other sectors were the reason the people of the State endorsed his second term bid.
Governor Abdullahi A Sule had last month flagged-off the State Cash Transfer Programme in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital with so aimed at reducing poverty in the State and country at large.
