Karu/Gitata Constituency: Hon. Maiyaki Commences disbursement Of Scholarship Grants To Students.
Lawmaker representing Karu/ Gitata Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. David Maiyaki would tomorrow Friday, April 23rd, 2021 disbursed scholarship to 90 selected final year students of higher institutions of his constituency.
This, the lawmaker said, was to reduce the burden of their education on their parents and guardians.
A statement issued by Danladi Asawu Efuna, Publicity Secretary of the disbursement committee indicates that the exercise is under Hon David Maiyaki Scholarship Scheme.
According to the statement, successful candidates are hereby invited for the disbursement of the funds at Tuturu Hotel, beside ECWA Church, Ado, in Karu, Local Government Area.
The statement reads in part ” The beneficiaries of the first phase of the scheme have been shortlisted.
” Fifteen candidates were selected from each of the six electoral wards in Karu/Gitata Constituency,”.

The second phase of the programme according to the statement will take place on May 29th, 2021 where all the successful candidates would be captured.
The statement further noted that , only the shortlisted candidates would be allowed into the venue of the exercise.
