Nasarawa Speaker Expressed Deep Shock Over Passing Of Chief Of Army Staff, Condole President Buhari, Nigerians.

The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has stated that he received with deep shock and sorrow over the reported demised of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Attahiru, who sad occurrence as result of a plane crashed that killed other Military officers onboard.

The Speaker’s condolence message  was issue and duly signed on Sunday, 23, 2021, by his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwawna, expressed shock over the sudden death of Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru and described it as one death too many for the country, especially at this challenging time of national security.

“I expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Chief of Army Staff and other military officers.”

The speaker noted that the death of late Attahiru and 10 other officers was colossal and monumental loss to the entire country.

He said those late officers have paid the supreme and ultimate price to secure their fatherland and pray God to give them peace in the world beyond.

Similarly, Speaker, Balarabe Abdullahi condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigeria army and the families of the deceased as well as Nigerians over the painful loss urging all to see their deaths as an act of God and pray for the repose of their souls.

The speaker further prayed that God will grant their families the fortitude to bear the irredeemable loss.

It would be recalled that the Chief of Army Staff L. Gen. Attahiru Ibrahim and 10 others died in an air mishap in Kaduna on Friday and among the victims were Three Brigadier-Generals and Two Majors.

Late Attahiru was born on August 10th, 1966.in Doka ,Kaduna North LGA of Kaduna State and was appointed Chief of Army Staff on January 26th, 2021 where he became the 25th Chief of Army Staff in Nigeria.
