Nasarawa Speaker hails emergence of Bello, Dagusa as State APC Chair, Secretary

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has congratulated Alhaji Aliyu Bello on his emergence as brand news State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Speaker Balarabe also extended his congratulatory message to Yarus Dagusa who also emerged as the Secretary of APC in the State.

Bello, a former State secretary of APC was confirmed as new State chairman of the ruling party.

Bello hail from Lafia LGA while Dagusa is from Toto LGA of the State.

Global Times Nigeria correspondent reports that the leaders emerged on Wednesday during an expanded stakeholders meeting of the party in Government House Lafia.

Bello emergence followed the appointment of his predecessor, John Wajeson Mamman who was recently appointed as Commissioner for Education and Member of the Nasarawa State Executive Council.

According to reports Bello and Dagusa emergency as Chairman and Secretary of the APC received the full backing of the Governor Abdullahi Sule and stakeholders.

It was also reported that Governor Sule had assure Nasarawa citizens of his government commitment to do more in his second term.

Reacting to the development, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi congratulated the new party leaders and assured of his support.

Jibrin Gwamna, the Chief Press Secretary to the the Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi in a statement described Bello and Dagusa’s appointment as a good omen for the party in the State.

Speaker Balarabe representing Umaisha/Ugya constituency in Toto LG urged them to bring to bear their experiences and expertise particularly adding fortune to the party through unity, peace and progress.

Speaker further, the Number 3 citizen and Toto LG political leader called on all party faithfuls to give them their maximum support to enable them succeed on the task ahead of them.

While wishing them the very best in their tenure, Speaker Balarabe assured them of his support at all times for the benefit of the ruling party, the State and the country at large.
