A renowned grassroot politician and mobilizer Hon. Alhaji Muhammed Usman has rated the Nasarawa Speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as a great man who is blessed with vast knowledge of politicking and technical know-how.
Alhaji Muhammed Usman who is fondly called Understand is the Special Adviser on Political Affairs to the Nasarawa Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi says the people of Toto local government especially Umaisha constituency never had it so good until the new sheriff came onboard with new ideal since his emergence in year 2015 and since then the area has started wearing a new look.
The political adviser of the Speaker who is widely known for delivery assignments especially on electioneering process described the Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi as a thoroughbred focus leader who is determine and committed to attracting meaningful development for his people.
“We the people of Toto LG are blessed for having Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi as our leader, he thinks about the area on how the place will be develop. You can see since he came the area now witnessing relentless peace. ”
“Aside infrastructure development of ruling government sited in Toto LG, the people now enjoying peace. The peaceful coexistence of the people now gives us joy, hope and freedom remember we’ve clamoured for this for many years. ”
He urged the people of Toto local government area to continued to support their leaders at all Levels so that they will continue to provide more leadership that will have direct bearing to the people of the area.
He said the Speaker has provided some life touching dividends of democracy like education support program, youths and women empowerment, supported elders with cash to start up something and become self reliance.
According to him, his dividends are too numerous which include, provision of solar street lights, donated cars, motorcycles, sewing machines, food stuffs and among other.
He said the Speaker has also used his office to facilitated some Umaisha/Ugya road which was rehabilitated by previous government of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura, graded some roads and built some schools in Toto LG among many others things.
On the council election, the young Political Adviser has congratulated the new Toto LG Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas (Aquatic), his running mate, Hon. Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis and all the 12 councillorship who emerged victorious at the poll.
He charged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear as the people will be expecting a new encompassing leadership from them.
He said the new leadership should carry everybody’s along irrespective of political ideologies, tribe and social considerations, saying doing will endear him to the people of the area.
Global Times Nigeria had reported that Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) had conducted LG election on 6 October with ruling APC winning all the 13 LGAs alongside 147 wards councillors.
The election which was adjudged peaceful, devoid of rancour and most transparent in history of the State.
