Boat Regatta: Hon. Aguye Hails Lokoja Executive Chairman, Organizers Efforts At Reviving the Culture of Lokoja People

The Chairman, Lokoja Local Government Area, Muhammed Dansabe Muhammed and organizers of the 4th Edition of the Lokoja Boat Regetta Festival, have been commended for their efforts at keeping alive, the culture of the people of the Area.
Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Job Creation and SME’s Development, Hon. Danladi Aguye, gave the commendation at the 2021 Lokoja Boat Regatta.
Hon. Aguye said the Council Chairman has been doing his best at reviving the culture of the people of the State Capital, saying his recent organization of the Lokoja Duba – Horse raise and his support to the success of the Boat Regatta was worthy of accolades.
He appreciated members of the Lokoja Forum of Patriots, Rajan Ventures Limited and the Lokoja Traditional Council for the successful organization of the event.
“I want to appreciate the organizers of this Lokoja Boat Regatta festival for keeping the culture and tradition of the great people of Lokoja LGA
“I also want to commend the Executive Chairman of Lokoja LGA, Hon. Mohammed Dansabe Mohammed for his tremendous support at all times
“Just last sallah, he hosted the Lokoja Dubar Horse Raise which was a wonderful event where winners emerged with various prices given out, it’s a sign to show that MDM honours and respect the culture of the good people of Lokoja”
The Special Adviser on Job Creation and SME’s Development pointed out that Culture as a total way of life of a people, needed to be protected to enable generations yet unborn to trace their root.
Hon. Aguye added that, he will continue to partner with the body and others that are out to project the culture of the people of Lokoja Local Government Area to the outer world, and commended youths for their participating in various competition at the Boat Regatta.
