The newly appointed secretary for transportation of the FCT administration, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, on Tuesday, assumed his office, in which he received dignitaries as well as traditional rulers across the territory.
Hon. Dobi, who assumed office around 9;47 am, was accompanied alongside the APC chairmanship candidate in Gwagwalada area council, Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri, APC state Chairman, Hon Abdulmalik Usman, APC chieftain, Alhaji Usman Yahaya, Vice Chairmanship Candidate in Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Saidu Zuba and some of his supporters.

Also among traditional rulers that visited the mandate secretary, were the Ona of Abaji and chairman of the FCT Council of traditional rulers, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, the Etsu of Kwali, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Shaban Audu Nizazo (III), the Etsu of Wako chiefdom, Alhaji Abdulaziz Ibrahim Usman, the Gomo of Kuje, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Haruna Jibrin Tanko, the Aguma of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Muhammad Magaji.
Other top APC Chieftains that also visited the mandate secretary, included, the sworn-in senior special adviser to the minister on community relations, Hon Ishaku Tanko Yamawo, Alhaji M. Saba, as well as some top civil servants working at the FCDA.

However, the new secretary of transport, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, while appreciating personalities and traditional rulers for their visit, solicited their support and cooperation to enable him to succeed in his new assignment.
He said the task ahead of him was to ensure that the aim and objectives of the APC-led administration under President Muhammadu Buhari, is achieved, while he also sought prayers from religious leaders to enable him to succeed in the task ahead.
