Nigeria @62: Tashas praised Nigerians for successfully nurturing democracy, Urged youth to shun vices
The Executive Chairman of Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has joined millions of Nigerians especially Nasarawa State and Toto LG citizens in commemorating 62nd independence anniversary, noting that the nation duly deserved to be celebrated given numerous achievements.
In a statement to mark the event, issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, Senior Special Assistant, (SSA) Media and Communications to the Executive Chairman of Toto, commended Nigerians for their resilience and patriotism over the years, calling on them not to relent and to always push until it reaches its zenith.
The council boss said despite daunting challenges the nation was able to make some marks compared to previous successive administrations and urged the citizens to continue to support all developmental efforts aimed at revamping the economy and building an equitable nation.

“Nigeria is committed to regaining her leadership position in the comity of nations with the fresh wind of democratic change across the country and under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.”
“It is my prayer and hoped that the country’s vast resources would be judiciously harnessed for rapid industrialization and growth propelled by good governance,”
Tashas praised Nigerians for successfully nurturing democracy without fail for over sixty years, therefore, urged all Nigerians to continue to hard work democratic tree with prayers, commitment, hard-work and vigilance.
While congratulating the nation for attaining 62 years, the Toto LG Chairman encouraged the youth to shun vices and imbibe good neighbourliness.
