NSG lauds President Tinubu for appointing Imaan as Minister.

Nasarawa State Government has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim, as minister of state police affairs.

Governor Abdullahi Sule, gave the commendation during a grand reception in honour of the minister, organized by a Keffi based coalition and civil society group.

The Alvari Hotel, Keffi, was filled to capacity as dignitaries from all walks of life converged to honour the minister of state police affairs, Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim, over her appointment as member of the Federal executive council by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by his deputy Doctor Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, said the appointment of Imaan Ibrahim as minister of the Federal republic of Nigeria by the president was not a mistake considering her antecedents while serving in various capacities of government, expressing optimism that she will represent Nasarawa state well at the Federal level.

According to the Governor, Nasarawa state is endowed with mineral resources and as such citizens must shun all forms of differences for the development of the state.
Speakers at the event including, the Minister of special cuties and inter-governmental affairs, Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, the state APC Chairman, Aliyu Bello, described the minister, Imaan Ibrahim, as competent and capable of making Nasarawa state proud just as they solicited for prayers from all to enable her succeed.
In another development, the minister for state police affairs, Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim has empowered over fifty women who are seasoned Tailors in Keffi with Grinding and sewing machines, which was presented by the minister of humanitarian and poverty alleviation, Dr. Beta Edu, where she urged beneficiaries to use the items judiciously to enable them to be self-reliant.

Speaking on why she decided to empower the women, Imaan Ibrahim, said the era of mouth politics is gone and government must be accountable to its citizens irrespective of political affiliations.

Remarking on the gesture of the Minister, the chairman, Keffi Local government, Aliyu Mohammed and his SDP counterpart, Yahaya Baba, appreciated the minister for her humanitarian service to the people and called on other spirited individuals to emulate her.
