As All Progressives Congress, APC, set to conduct its primaries across the country to pick its flag-bearers ahead of the 2023 elections, a party chieftain and member Representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Mohammed Ibrahim Alkali, has pledged more democratic dividends if re-elected come 2023.
Hon Alkali (APC Lafia North) and Deputy Chief Whip of the House gave the assurance during a meeting with all the APC wards and LG EXCOs from Lafia North Constituency, today in Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia.
Alkali, who is the Chai format, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said that the meeting was aimed at soliciting the support of the party EXCOs to enable to him win the constituency APC ticket.
” I will continue to do my best for you and other people of our great constituency.
” I want to solo for your support and votes as I will provide more dividends of democracy if you returned me to the House for another term.
” I have done my best in the area of education, health, agriculture, empowerment, security, assistance to the less privileged ones, my performance at the floor of the House of lawmaking among others, he said.
The lawmaker promised continued and sound representation at the state legislature if given another mandate.
He has called on the people of the constituency and the state at large to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
” His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Sule is doing well, let’s all support him for another term come 2023,” he added.
It would be reported that the Excos of Lafia North Constituency at the meeting Comprised Adogi, Arikya, Shabu/Kwandare, Keffin-Wambai, As,hige, and Assakio electoral wards.
It would be reported also that the meeting had in attendance all members of Hon. Alkali Campaign Council among other stakeholders well-wishes hers.
