Senator Aduda’s achievements has surpassed his predecessors – Abuja chief

The Sarkin Sabon – Gari in Bwari area council of the FCT, Alhaji Musa Gimba, has commended the senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT for embarking of viable projects across the FCT, saying Aduda’s achievements has surpassed that of his predecessors.

Alhaji Gimba, stated this during the flag – off of the Sabon – Gari – police – station – Kuduru – mechanic village junction road of the council by Senator Philip Aduda on Thursday.

He said Senator Aduda has been able to impact positively on the lives of people of the FCT not only through provision of infrastructures but empowerment of youth and women across the territory.

*And it was on this premise that I am confessing that Senator Philip Aduda’s achievements within the past 12 years has surpassed that of his predecessors, “he said.

Also speaking, the Madaki of Sabon Gari, Mr Emmanuel Yamawo, commended senator Aduda for the award of the construction of the project in the area.

He said the road after completion will bring a sigh of big relief to both residents and motorists plying the road, even as he recalled that the road has caused hardship on people of the area especially at the peak of rainy season.

The FCT campaign director general of the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Eziekel Dalhatu Musa, noted that the construction of the road will eased movement of people of the area down to Kuduru as well as other neighboring villages.

He said the construction of the road by Senator Aduda, was also ongoing at Lanto, Shetuko, Kilankwa, Pai, Bazango, Jikwoi and Nyanya across the FCT, saying Aduda’s priority has always been to work for his people.

“In fact, as we speak, Senator Aduda’s projects across Bwari area council alone were more than 30. And there is no ward that Aduda don’t have more than five or six projects,” he said.

He asked residents of the council to identify one road project President Buhari or the FCT minister has executed in Bwari town saying people of Bwari should rather rally behind Senator Aduda as their president, minister and governor.

” So for someone to come and tell you people lies that they have executed projects is a pure lie, hence, we should support the person that have good things for us and we have been it,” he said.

Senator Aduda, while flagging – off the road, said the flag – off of the road was among several road projects has awarded across the six area councils of the FCT.

He said the road project will comprised of asphalt, culvert and water drainage system, saying the project was about over N1 billion awarded to the contractor is one of the biggest project within and around Bwari town.

“Even though I know the FCT administration is doing the river Gurara – Kubwa road but this is one of the biggest local roads within the Bwari town that is being built,” he said.

Aduda, while appreciating entire good residents of the FCT for their support to him to execute viable projects that has been impacting on their lives.

He disclosed that funding of the project will not be a problem, even as he called on the federal controller of works in the FCT to ensure the contractor handling the projects completed them within the 12 months stipulated time.

“I want to say that if not time line, I am sure that by the time we will come back here, I am sure you will almost have completed this road. But I will be coming here to inspect this. And I am sure that between now and the end of January, you will have gone far on this road, ” he added.
